The house is set in two acres of private grounds
with lawns, borders and a fine selection of trees,
from bountiful fruiting varieties to the grand Plane tree
in the courtyard.
The
house and gardens are in a rural location, amidst the
vineyards and hills
of Gascony.
The private swimming pool is 12 x 6 metres, with Roman steps at the
shallow-end and a
stainless steel step ladder at the deep end. The depth varies
from one metre to two metres. The pool is normally open May-September. An AFNOR approved pool alarm is fitted.
Ample garden furniture and sun
shades are provided on the terrace and sun beds by the
pool.
The more mature trees provide additional natural shade.
An
old stone wall divides the house and more formal
gardens from the courtyard which is bordered by a range
of
magnificent barns, here you will find table tennis, badminton
and a basket ball net.
One of the
barns provides a
sheltered dining area with table,
seating and a BBQ.
